Incidence Of The Use Of Virtual Social Networks In Family Relationships
Abstract
This research presents results of the incidence of the use of virtual social networks in the communication process of adolescents from 12 to 16 years of age in the city of Loja. Two previously validated questionnaires were applied to a sample of 400 young people and 200 parents, from fiscomisitional schools, after analyzing the data it was obtained that a high percentage of adolescents use the networks as the main means of communication to share information and establish their personal relationships with their peers and a large percentage of parents are unaware of the excessive permanence in time of their children in the networks.
