On ethical relativism in public education in Mexico
Abstract
The global crisis caused by the Coronavirus transformed people's lives. One area in particular affected was education. We review how the pandemic shook the Mexican educational system and how teachers and students had to adapt. Problems such as the digital divide or the lack of internet at home are highlighted, but the way in which the federal government dealt with the crisis is also analyzed. The authorities' request not to fail any student is striking, a position that allows us to reflect on ethical aspects in the educational environment in Mexico.
