Abstract
The final years of the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard were marked by great religious controversy. His radical experience of Christianity was the starting point for a war against the Lutheran Church of Denmark. Certain that subjectivity is its own truth, the human being must be an imitator of Christ. Therefore, Christianity could never be a doctrine or organized in an institutional way, much less linked to the State. Kierkegaard's thought has survived and to this day questions the relationship between Church and State, as well as the individual relationship and the practices of christians.
