Abstract
The intention of this article is to analyze the two ways of knowing the foundation in Meister Eckhart's thought. In order to do so, the notions of God [got] and divinity [gotheit] are analyzed in connection with the concepts of «spiritual poverty» [gelâzenheit] and of «transfer» [durchbrechen]. Its purpose is to demonstrate that the work of this author leads us, through his mystical-philosophical reflections, to an experiential thought that transcends the scholastic current. And, it is fully valid in contemporary philosophical work.
