Abstract
The article proposes a brief exposition of the genesis and structure of G. W. F. Hegel’s Vorlesungen über die Philosophie der Religion (Lessons on the Philosophy of Religion) (1770-1831), who understood religion as one of the forms of self-expression of the Spirit Absolute in reality, aiming to understand what role religion can play in an enlightened world. To this end, it analyzes the work of organizing the editions of these Lectures, as well as its systematic and formulation of religion as a formative moment of humanity, conscious and effective expression of the Spirit as a community
