The person who acts and the work
Abstract
The relationship between the person and work is analyzed from a personalist perspective, emphasizing the importance of action in personal fulfillment. From the thought of Wojtyla and Mounier, it is argued that human action reveals the essence of the human being and that work has a double dimension: objective (technical) and subjective (personal transformation). The dimensions of horizontal and vertical transcendence are explored, emphasizing that work should be an opportunity for personal and community growth. The need to transform both the outer and inner world in order to achieve a full and meaningful life is underlined.
