Abstract

Kierkegaard seems to propose the fourth stadium, but his proof will be the elaboration of arguments based on the author's works, so that it is possible to affirm the idea, in connection with existence and subjectivity. Based on the philosophical foundation of Christian existentialism, which highlights his uneasiness with Christianity practiced in his time, his concern to establish true Christianity, the discussion about original sin and the anguish generated by the constant search for reconciliation, Kierkegaard proposes what he calls the leap of faith – the leap to the excellent stadium, the fourth stadium, inserted in existential possibilities.

Juvenal Dias da Rocha é pastor e professor de teologia; pós-graduado em teologia pelo SBPV; bacharel, licenciatura e mestre em filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Realiza pesquisa e exposição teológica e filosófica, foco principal estudo: aspectos teológicos e filosófico a partir dos pensamentos agostinianos de Sören Aabye Kierkegaard. Recém-ingresso no Programa de Doutorado da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, UFU.
