Abstract

This is the direct transcription of a lecture at the Theological Seminary of the Diocese of Queretaro.. This paper analyzes the relationship between reason and myth throughout the history of Philosophy, and the role that Philosophy plays in the contemporary secular world when faced with religious beliefs.

Juan Carlos Moreno Romo is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and Researcher of the National System for Research —CONACYT— in Mexico. PhD in Philosophy at the Université des Sciences Humaines de Strasbourg.
