Abstract

This article aims at demonstrating how the early Heidegger (long before the publication of his magnum opus Being & Time in 1927) once draw on Kierkegaard’s writings in order to «existentialize» his thought, that is to proceed from a dialectics between the being I am and God himself. The present investigation should also challenge standard historiography by showing that Heidegger was rather a representative of Christian existentialism (unique in his kind) rather than of atheist existentialism.
