EDUARDO CESAR MAIA, is Professor at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brazil. PhD in Theory of Literature at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. His research focuses on the analysis and the intellectual rehabilitation of the humanistic critical tradition through the works of José Ortega y Gasset and Álvaro Lins. Similarly, his studies focus on the literary and critical thought of Mario Vargas Llosa.
