This portrayal of Armenian composer Avet Terterian traces a panoramic view over his life and musical work, adding some opportune thoughts about the nature of musical art, creative innovation, and the difficult relation between art, ideology and political power, represented here by the Soviet Union and its contradictory way of dealing with artists
